Our News

Welcome to our December Edition!

December being a very busy month for everyone, our newsletter is a shortened version.

We are excited and pleased to tell you that we are the Featured Canadian Quilt Designers in the current winter issue of The Canadian Quilter which is published by The Canadian Quilter's Association. It is quite an honour!

I am delighted to introduce some very special gifts for quilters in this issue. The quilter/artist who makes them will be one of our Featured Quilters in the near future.

A Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, and Our Best Wishes to All who celebrate Special Days during the month of December. A Happy, Healthy, New Year to Everyone, too!

All About Appliqué Blog

You have read about quilt designer, Kay Mackenzie in earlier issues and seen her appliqué books praised in my reviews. One of Kay's newest ventures is her All About Appliqué Blog which is sure to delight all appliqué lovers.

Kay's aim is to have her blog become an information resource for appliqué fans and although it will be an ongoing process, she is well on the way to achieving that goal. Her blog already includes a wealth of information and inspiration. If you have not begun to do appliqué yet and are thinking about trying it, this is a good place to spark your interest.

Kay's site is interactive. She welcomes your dialogue in the form of comments to her posts and invites you to share your experiences and appliqué discoveries. You are sure to comfortably enjoy this special space she has created!
